Rebecca Galler
Chief Marketing Officer
Rebecca serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Genoa Ventures working to increase the exposure and tell the stories of Genoa and our portfolio companies. With over 20 years of experience across multiple business disciplines including strategic marketing, corporate strategy, and venture investing within the healthcare and life sciences industries, Rebecca brings a diverse skill set to the strategic counsel she provides.
Prior to Genoa, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing for single-cell genomics company Mission Bio. At Mission Bio, Rebecca oversaw the company’s public launch and branding initiatives as well as all ongoing marketing functions. Rebecca also served as a strategic marketing consultant for AI-powered healthcare operations company, Qventus, and the healthcare navigation platform, Castlight Health. Early in her career, Rebecca worked in the healthcare practice of Edelman Public Relations.
Rebecca’s additional experience as a corporate strategist and venture investor also enables her to provide insightful counsel to the Genoa portfolio. As Head of Corporate Strategy for Sirna Therapeutics, Rebecca was on the front lines of Sirna’s largest business development negotiations with GlaxoSmithKline and Allergan, as well as the ultimate $1.3B acquisition by Merck. At Invesco Funds Group and GE Equity, Rebecca managed over $150MM in venture capital healthcare investments ranging from medical devices to microfluidics technologies.
Rebecca has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Barnard College. She joined Genoa to leverage her chimeric experience to advise and guide the next generation of transformative companies making a positive change for our health and climate. She particularly loves helping early-stage companies tell their unique stories.
